Go Forth Music is an artist services firm dedicated to providing quality strategies and support services to musicians and music industry entrepreneurs. We work with clients who have outgrown the DIY (Do It Yourself) phase of their careers and are ready to subscribe to our SWAT philosophy: Success With A Team. Utilizing our in-house personnel and freelancer network, we are able to provide services ranging from digital marketing and business administration to full recording project management and virtual assistant services.

Go Forth Music was founded to give musicians and music industry entrepreneurs solutions and strategies that provide tangible results and lead to fulfilling careers.  Whether we’re hired to design a website, mix a record, or plan an album release, we approach each project with the integrity and vigor needed to get results.

Our Team

Alandis Brassel - Partner
Alandis Brassel brings significant music industry, marketing, and technology-related experience to the position. Immediately before starting Go Forth Music, Brassel completed his graduate studies at New York University, earning a M.A. in Music Business and serving as graduate intern to Warner Music Group Executive Vice President Kevin Liles. While there he worked on various artist marketing initiatives. He also served as an assistant engineer on Justin Timberlake’s Grammy-winning, multi-platinum sophomore album and as A&R consultant on Justin Bieber’s multi-platinum album My World 2.0. His graduate thesis, Implementing Effective Digital Strategies Into Music Project Plans, has received positive feedback from industry professionals and, as a result, he was featured as a digital strategy/social media expert in the July 2010 issue of Black Enterprise. Brassel also holds a B.S. in Music Engineering Technology from Hampton University.
La-Vaughnda Taylor - Partner
La-Vaughnda Taylor has both a business and legal background in the entertainment industry. She holds a J.D. from American University, Washington College of Law (with a focus in Intellectual Property and Entertainment Law), and a B.S. in Economics from Clemson University. While attending law school, Taylor served as a research assistant for Entertainment Attorney Joy Butler and her second published book, The Cyber Citizen’s Guide Through the Legal Jungle. She also gained valuable experience drafting contracts and learning the inner workings of the music business while summering as a legal intern for a start-up media company that included a virtual record label and mobile content provider. After moving to New York City, Taylor gained valuable experience and connections while working as the Assistant Brand Manager and Production Coordinator for The Mee Group, a media company that owns and operates an online and print fashion publication, a record label and various music and entertainment websites.
